We have been watching Man Yi the typhoon as it has been developing all week. They keep telling us we are in for a direct hit. Of course they always tell us that at the beginning & then it turns one way or the other. This time it appears to be hitting us head on tomorrow afternoon (13, July, Friday @ 3:00pm). That is 2am for you Ky folks & 1 am for the Tulsa, Kansas people. Today has been a little windy & periodic brief showers. But all in all a decent day, very hot though. Alan was let off work & able to come home & help me tie everything down. We took our satelite dish down after dinner tonight, which ended up being a great time since it really started raining after that, so no more tv for us for a few days. We will keep you all posted how things turn out. When you are looking at the map, you can faintly see Naha & that is where we live & mainland Japan off the the north (we are a tiny island).
